COMPREHENSIVE ESTATES MANAGEMENT ENSURING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

The Khadamat Estates Management team comprises of engineers, supervisors and multi trade technical staff who provide expertise on all disciplines of different levels. The department and the maintenance activities are supported by a Computer-aided facility management (CAFM) Concept Evolution.

Estates Management Services includes 24 hours emergency call out service for all maintenance related activities and defects on the campus. The services are coordinated through the Khadamat Service Desk.

In addition to the Maintenance requirements, a Projects and variation works which may require alterations to the building layout or services is also provided. End user requirements are received, feasibility studies are carried out and Scope of Works developed therefore providing the required information to allow quotations for the works to be obtained. When funding for the project is approved by the UAEU the works are then undertaken and managed to completion by Khadamat.

Finally, the Estates Management department also provides Asset Management, Space Planning and Moves & Change services to the UAEU.

Health and Safety is paramount to Khadamat Estates Management staff and Subcontractors. Khadamat is committed to ensure that the campus buildings provide a safe and secure environment at all times for UAEU students, staff and visitors.

Khadamat operates a Health and Safety System which is designed to be fully compliant with all Statutory and Regulatory Requirements in the UAE. This includes a Permit to Work System to monitor and control works on site. This ensures compliance with University operational requirements, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and industry best practice.
